Among three accused dealers who used the apartment to store drugs for a nonstop walk-up business on Hamilton Avenue were Xavier Fulmore, 25, and Jamere Williams, 27, Public Safety Director Jerry Speziale said.
Fulmore had only just been released from state prison three months ago Thursday after serving three separate stretches covering three combined years, records show.
Williams, meanwhile, had been released in October after serving more than two years for drug and conspiracy convictions.
Members of the city Narcotics Division launched an investigation culminating in Wednesday’s raid following several complaints, Speziale said.
Recovered along with the heroin and a small bag of crystal meth were two 9mm handguns with high-capacity magazines -- a 9mm Glock 19 Gen 5 and a Masterpiece Arms Mac 11 – as well as $1,219 in proceeds, he said.
Charged with major drug and weapons counts are Fulmore, Williams and 18-year-old Edwin Diaz, all of Paterson. Among their offenses, Fulmore and Williams are also each charged with being a convicted felon in possession of a firearm, the director said.
Police also arrested accused buyers.
Jessica Whitman, 27, and Felix Lozada, 38, both of Paterson, were each charged with having 60 folds of heroin for personal use, while Janet Desande, 38, of Woodcliff Lake was charged with buying 51 heroin folds and the bag of meth.
